Your role
As a valued member of the Commercial Team, you will have the opportunity to enhance and sharpen your underwriting skills. You will be responsible for new business production, building strong relationships with our broker network and actively promoting the ICPEI brand.

What you bring to the position

• Minimum 1 year of Commercial underwriting experience
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and risk assessment
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Bilingual an asset (French/English)

What you will do

• Identify and underwrite new business, process renewals and endorsements
• Build strong relationships with brokers and maintain high levels of service
• Participate in production trips, broker visits and corporate functions as required
• Adhere to Company guidelines, contracts, authority limits and standards
• Analyze market trends, risk profitability, exposures and hazards
• Contribute to the development of the Commercial team
