Your role
As a valued member of the Surety Team, you will have the opportunity to enhance and sharpen your underwriting, financial and credit analysis skills. You will be responsible for new business production and actively promoting the ICPEI brand.

What you bring to the position

• Bilingual required (French/English)
• Minimum 1 years of surety underwriting experience
• Knowledge of contract surety industry including legal and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong time management, problem solving and organizational skills
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite programs

What you will do

• Identify and underwrite new business
• Provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to peers and Supervisor
• Monitor financial strength of existing and new clients
• Prepare security documentation
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external partners
• Work both independently and as part of the Surety Team
